In a recent press release, Saban has announced that for better or for worse they’ll be continuing their successful current partnership with Nickelodeon into 2016.
The President of Saban Brands Elie Dekl had this to say about the continued partnership:
“Our partnership with Nickelodeon has been instrumental in maintaining the popularity of the Power Rangers brand and introducing the series to a new generation of kids. Furthermore, our Power Rangers partnership with Bandai has remained strong throughout the past two decades as they continue to develop new products that kids love around the world. We are thrilled to extend the agreements with both Bandai and Nickelodeon, and look forward to continuing these strong partnerships for years to come.”

Wonderful. So more seasons that take two years, split up by nine episodes at a time, and more falling behind Super Sentai. *Throws papers up* Done. I love Power Rangers, I'll always love Power Rangers, but this just frustrates the bejesus out of me.

I'm so excited.

Why, Mister Saban, Why in the name of Gosei did you buy your own damn network. Why did you purcahse 4Kids.Tv... Just to keep airing your shows on Nick?! What kind of backward math are you using?!

I think I'd be able to tolerate the intentional hammy acting, the "Super" series, and such if it wasn't being cut up and divided into episode chunks with breaks that last months at a time.
That's the kiss of death that kills my interest in keeping up with the series. Kind of hard to keep caring when, after 9 episodes, I have to wait 4 months just to watch episode 10.

I've been a hardcore fan of Power Rangers since Day 1, no way in hell I will EVER stop being one of their biggest fans.

I feel two ways about this. Nick will treat the series better than Disney ever will, but their marketing towards it is painful at best and madding at it worse.
I'll be happy with PR being with the lesser of two evils at least until 2016 unless something changes, but man alive it's a real bitter pill to swallow.

... I was really hoping a awesome Go-busters adaptations, but I fear it's not going to be as awesome now if it's still going to be airing on nick.
