Photo & Content contributor conundrum is back yet again with a new gallery from Big Bad Beetleborgs! Today he takes a look at the 6″ Blue Stinger Beetleborg!
The figure is an import of the Blue Beet figure from Bandai of Japan’s Juukou B-Fighter toy line, released by Bandai of America in 1998.All in all, it is still a solid figure, even by today’s standards. The articulation for the most part is decent, but the fantastic metallic blue and chrome paint job the figure has more than makes up for it. The paint is a double-edged sword though as it is almost impossible to find a used Beetleborgs figure without any wear to the metallic paint or chrome.
No one knows if the B-Fighters/Beetleborgs will ever get the S.H. Figuarts treatment, but in the meantime, the figures from Bandai of America’s 6 inch line are an excellent placeholder in any collection.

Beetle Blast!
We're proving that a mediocre show doesn't always mean mediocre toys with a gallery of the Blue Stinger Beetleborg figure from Bandai's Big Bad Beetleborgs toy line!
The figure is an import of the Blue Beet figure from Bandai of Japan's Juukou B-Fighter toy line, released by Bandai of America in 1998.
Blue Stinger stands at 6 inches tall and has 15 points of articulation. The figure comes with an array of accessories including a Sonic Laser, Beetle Battler, and the Stinger Blade attachment. Each of the 6inch figures of the Blue, Green, and Red Beetleborgs also came with their team member's respective weapons as well as their own.
All in all, it is still a solid figure, even by today's standards.
Figuarts treatment, but in the meantime, the figures from Bandai of America's 6 inch line are an excellent placeholder in any collection.

I had all three of the main guys, blue, green, red. They were AWESOME. I loved the vac-metal.

I think I had the green one, and my brother had this figure.
Damn, the Beetleborg toys were awesome. Still just as cool looking today as they were over a decade ago!

I had Blue and Green ones that were almost exactly like these, but had no elbows on the right arm because they had a spinning/pinching gimmick for their weapons.

Tried watching Beetleborg on Netflix the other day and it was a rather painful experience with the terrible jokes and the wooden child actors with dialogue written much older then they are. Those Beetleborgs look awesome, absolutely awesome which makes me want to wade through the guff just for them but more tempted to watch the original, even though it looks a tad wooden.
I got tonal whiplash from this video=

The Mega Blue /S Super Blue Beet was cool but it had problems standing. Those feet wont hold him up due to the back pack.
