In lieu of all the Figureoh scans, an unexpected announcement from Premium Bandai narrowly fell off the radar, with a special diorama set dipicing an early film set straight out of Tsuburaya studios!
The diorama will include a sun set backdrop along with a day time backdrop in addition to city scape, working lights, and to scale props. While this set is meant to go with Sofubi figures it should be scaled well enough to work with Tamashi branded products such as Ultra Act and Monster Arts.
The pre order will run from July 22nd till October 31st and will be released May 2nd 2015 for 25,920 yen.

I'm not sure about the specifics but it seems bandai are releasing a Ultra sofubi scale tv studio replica! (are they the same scale as ultra-act? because that would be amazing)
It comes with a backdrop and loads of set pieces and working minature lamps and a rail for camera panning that you can attach an iphone to! All of that for a whopping 25,920円!
I want it but at the same time, can you imagine the shipping on this thing?

This is REALLY cool.
At that size it ought to work with Ultra Act and maybe Monster Arts well enough.
Den-O says
It's just so damn expensive. But I'd love to have something like this. Be a great display piece.

That sucker is gorgeous! Worth the price, I'd imagine, if you had that kind of cash laying around.

If I was a serious Ultra Act collector I would love to have this but yeah.... the money...
KyoryuGreen says
That would nice to have, though I don't have money or space for it.

That looks amazing, but I bet this would be cool for anyone who has money to burn and likes to do stop motion films.

Oh HO, that is so awesome! But I will have to admire it from afar -- despite my decent Ultra-Act and Ultra Monster vinyl collections which would fit very nicely with it, I can't justify that kind of pricing. But man, that is a clever idea.
Starscreamer says
honestly just a slightly larger scale and I'd be in love...something like this for the Monster Arts would be amazing, and yes more expensive. The fact it has working studio lighting AND the track for the camera though is just badass

Dang thats nice. Id love that for SRC or something. I mean recreating Sentai robo fights? But damn at $300 almost before shipping. Wow.
