The first piece of merchandise for the upcoming new Power Rangers season Power Rangers Cosmic Fury has been revealed!

This is the Cosmic Morpher which is used by the former Dino Fury Ranger team to access their new cosmic powers. The Cosmic Morpher features sound effects based on the six Dino Fury Rangers along with light effects.

Pricing and release dates for the Cosmic Fury toyline have not been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this new chapter in Power Rangers history!

This figure was sold on ebay as an unknown Power Rangers prototype. We’ve included an image of the Omega Rangers for reference.

Continuing on with our Power Rangers day coverage, Hasbro just revealed the fourth entry into the Power Rangers X Cobra Kai Lightning Collection crossover figures with Johnny Lawrence morphed as the Black Boar Ranger!

 

The Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin X Cobra Kai Johnny Lawrence Morphed Black Boar Ranger will be released July 1st, 2023, retailing for $27.99 you can pre-order this figure direct from Hasbro Pulse by following the link here or from Target

The Power Rangers HyperForce are making their return in comic book form via BOOM! Studios with Melissa Flores (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Radiant Pink, The Dead Lucky) and Meghan Camarena (Radiant Pink) helming the writing duties.  The artist on board is Federico Sabbatini (Moon Knight, The Dead Lucky).

The Power Rangers HyperForce return and scour the multiverse in search of allies after Mistress Vile (formerly Rita Repulsa) and Dark Specter invade the Morphin Grid.  The HyperForce Rangers will be pushed to their limits.

The comic is scheduled to release July 19th, 2023.

Power Rangers HyperForce was a live-show tabletop RPG that aired on Twitch.tv and officially sanctioned by Saban Brands.  It starred fan-favorite Power Rangers actors Peter Sudarso (Red Ranger), Paul Schrier (Yellow Ranger), and Yoshi Sudarso (Silver and Green Rangers), reality star Meghan Camarena (Pink Ranger), voice actress Christina Vee (Black Ranger), and YouTube personality Andre Meadows (Blue Ranger).  It aired weekly and fans had a chance to interact via Twitch to give the Rangers extra powers and abilities.  It guest-starred numerous fan-favorite actors and personalities like Jason David Frank, Erin Cahill, Kyle Higgins, Melissa Flores, Jason Bischoff, Mike Ginn, and more.

The Lightning Collection ReMastered lineup continues for the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers figures.  Up for pre-order today are Mighty Morphin Red Ranger, Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger, and Mighty Morphin Green Ranger.  The full details of each figure as as follows:

  • Mighty Morphin Red Ranger
    • Comes with Dragon Shield, gold arm bands, Blade Blaster in all three forms, Power Sword, morpher, swappable hands, energy effects
    • NO civilian head
    • (solicitations state that only 2 versions of the Blade Blaster)
  • Mighty Morphin Green Ranger
    • Comes with Dragon Dagger, Blade Blaster in at least 2 forms (blaster, sword), morpher, green candle, morpher, swappable hands, civilian head
  • Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger
    • Comes with Power Bow, Blade Blaster in all three forms, morpher, swappable hands, civilian head

As a quick editorial note – very disappointed that the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger does not come with his arm bands or shield – you have to buy the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger to get those items to complete the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger.  This looks to be 100% a marketing ploy as the sculpt/figure have long passed any type of exclusivity window for a retailer.

Arguably the most anticipated special of all time for the Power Rangers brand will release tomorrow, April 19th 2023, for the entire world with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always, a special near-hour-long  30th anniversary celebration of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.  With special thanks to eOne, Hasbro, and Netflix, we were granted an opportunity to review the special early to provide our fellow fans with our thoughts and overall review.  The following is our non-spoiler review where we will talk about certain parts but without spoiling any specific details or story elements.

Obviously the best way to enjoy Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always is to go in 100% blind, so please only continue if you don’t mind having the most basic of elements (ie: “was this good/bad, etc.”) notated.
