Tamashii Nations Event 2023 – Ultraman Reveals

With the Tamashii Nations 2023 event underway there is plenty for Ultraman fans to get excited about as well. Alongside its recently released trailer Bandai revealed that the Ultraman from the forthcoming animated Ultraman: Rising film would be on display, together with a number of new reveals from the main franchise.

Making their debut at the event are…

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou:

S.H. Figuarts:

  • Ultraman (Ultraman: Rising)
  • Ultraman X Beta Spark Armor
  • Hunter Knight Tsurugi
  • Red King
  • Greeza (Second Form)

Also at the event are the previously released Shinkocchou Seihou Ultraman and Ultraman Tiga as well as S.H. Figuarts Ultraman X, Ultraman Orb, Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman Blazar!

While all of these new items are currently labelled as “display only”, we’ll bring you more news as it comes!

S.H. Figuarts 15th Anniversary Gallery – Kamen Rider Na-Go Beat Form & Kamen Rider Geats Fever Forms

As you can probably expect from an S.H. Figuarts 15th anniversary event Kamen Rider takes centre stage in many of the displays of the exhibit, and as the currently airing series Kamen Rider Geats as a few brand new reveals! On display for the first time is Kamen Rider Na-Go Beat Form, the feline alter-ego of Neon Kurama wielding the Beat Buckle.

Another brand new reveal is Kamen Rider Geats Fever Magnum and Fever Boost – the special power up from Geats takes when the Feverslot Buckle grants him two of the same power-up.

Both items are display-only for the time being, but we’ll bring you more information on their release as it comes!

S.H. Figuarts 15th Anniversary Gallery – Ultraman Trigger Truth Revealed

Bandai Tamashii Nations is currently holding a special exhibit to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the S.H. Figuarts line, and of course there are some brand new reveals amongst the displays! On the Ultraman side of things we have our first look at S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Trigger Truth – the form the character takes in the show’s final episode after combining the powers of his light and dark selves. The figure is displayed alongside the previously released S.H. Figuarts Carmeara, mirroring their final scenes together.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Trigger Truth is a display-only item for the time being, but we’ll bring you more information as it comes!

Tamashii Nations Event 2022 – ULTRAMAN (Anime) Reveals

It wasn’t just live action Ultraman that got all the attention at Tamashii Nations 2022 either! Also at the event was an impressive S.H. Figuarts display of all six Ultra Brother suits, most of which are brand new reveals! These include;

UltraArts 100 Revealed – S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Ultraman!

The official Bandai Tamashii Nations website has been counting down to the milestone of 100 releases since the Ultra Series joined the S.H. Figuarts line, and thanks to the latest batch of magazine leaks we can see that the 100th figure will be none other than an S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Ultraman!

Much like the premium treatment Ultraman Tiga received last year, the original 1966 Ultra hero will arrive as part of Bandai’s “true bone carving” line. While the release date, price and materials used on the figure are still unconfirmed, we can see from the images that this Ultraman will come packaged with multiple hands as well as his Specium Beam and Ultra Slash attack effect parts!

S.H. Figuarts Carmeara Revealed

As Ultraman Trigger reaches its grand finale this weekend, the Giants of Darkness approach the S.H. Figuarts line! The latest batch of magazine images have revealed that S.H. Figuarts Carmeara will be arriving in August as a Tamashii web exclusive release! Carmeara will include her ribbon attack parts, and is priced 7150 yen.

Tamashii Nations 2021 – Ultraman Reveals

It’s that time of year again! Tamashii Nations 2021 is underway and as usual there are plenty of brand new figure reveals for collectors all over the world to get excited about. As expected, this year’s Ultraman offerings have a heavy focus on Ultraman Trigger and Ultraman Tiga however there are a few other surprises thrown in too, primarily from Ultraman Z and Ultra Galaxy Fight. Tamashii Nations figu @ HOME – Ultraman Reveals

As well as showing up with a huge load of Kamen Rider reveals, Bandai Tamashii Nations had plenty to show off from the Ultraman during today’s Tamashii Nations figu @ HOME livestream event. These latest S.H. Figuarts reveals included:

  • Ultraman Leo
  • Ultraman Z Beta Smash
  • Ultraman Z Delta Rise Claw
  • Ultraman 55th anniversary edition (featuring a metallic finish and Brothers’ Mantle)
  • Golza from Ultraman Tiga

With these reveals not only do we finally see all of Ultraman Z’s television forms in the S.H. Figuarts line, but also a welcome return of kaiju figures! While the majority of these figures naturally do not have release dates at this time, S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Leo will be up for preorder tomorrow! This is a general retail figure due for release in November, with a price of 6050 yen.

S.H. MonsterArts Gigan (2004) Great Battle Ver. Revealed

The Bandai Tamashii Nations website and official Godzilla Twitter account have revealed a special reissue of S.H. MonsterArts Gigan (2004), previously released all the way back in 2014. This new Godzilla: Final Wars “Great Battle” version includes everything that was packaged with the original release (alternate armour plating and chainsaw hands from his later appearance in the film) as well as an eye laser effect part, extending grappling hook parts and additional cables for said hooks.

The figure is a Tamashii web exclusive, releasing in September 2021 and priced 15180 yen. Preorders open at 16:00 JST on Friday April 23rd!
