S.H.Figuarts Ride Striker Pre-Order Info

Well this sucks. At the very least Build used his bike often so it kinda makes sense to get the bikes as well. This is turning into a bad 'DLC' practice.

Screw this crap. I wish I could actually speak Japanese well enough to talk to them about this; it's a shitty business decision that needs to stop.

If the bikes don’t sell, don’t make them. Taking accessories from figures away only ensures that I won’t buy those either.

Ride Striker looks cool but I hope they also will be make S.H.Figuarts Time Mazine in robot mode

Was enjoying Build enough to get the bike and complete the figure, but for Zi-O, I'm still not even sold on the figure alone. Definitely not gonna pay $70+ for a display piece and a couple of accessories

I can understand that. I'm only buying Zi-O himself because he's cheap and I do want a complete main-Rider display at some point, but other than that I don’t see myself buying anything else Zi-O related.

Which is great because I buy way too much Build-stuff still. Can't wait for the next round of figures; I need me some Evol.

I hate two major trends with kamen riders lately. This and the leaning towards making the secondary rider exclusive. Especially with build and that later releases of the same character weren't exclusive.

One of the things that has always impressed me with Figuarts, and something I've used to sell people on the line, is their inclusion of accessories. Gokai Blue comes with the double sword and triple sword that was only used in one episode!

And now you're telling me I have to buy the exclusive motorcycle to get even the main weapon used every episode?

Count me among the "This trend needs to stop" crowd.

Granted, I can understand that the bikes are a necessary release because at this point if you didn't release them, people would complain about it. And I can also understand that them on their own don't sell nearly as well as they need to justify the price. That said, packing accessories that should come with the base figure it goes with just to guarantee the revenue is not the way to do it.

They should have taken the attempt they made with Kamen Rider Garren and streamlined it. Give us a base figure with their weaponry and a DX release that packs the bike with them. People will buy that because you have plenty of collectors who want the bikes to go with their riders. Hell, make that DX set a premium release to boot so you don't have to worry about them taking up shelf space and getting discounted. Everyone wins, you make your money.

At this point, I feel like the Figure Rise Standard kit is a better prospect given that it costs about the same as the Figuarts and comes with not his weapon but a stand too...
