Hector David Jr., who plays Mike, the green samurai ranger on Power Rangers Samurai, has recently posted a promotional image for the second season of the show, titled Power Rangers Super Samurai, on his facebook page.
As you can see, the image includes the red ranger in super mega mode, alongside the other five rangers in standard mega mode. In the background is not only the Samurai megazord, but also new villain Serrator, better known as Akumaro to fans of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.
Power Rangers Super Samurai is due to air later this year.

I'm still not fond of the Mega Modes (especially the Super Mega Mode) but it's a pretty nice poster.

This continuation is showing promise. Hopefully the critical reception of last year's season and the long hiatus they've had would help them craft a more polished, quality product this year. As I've said before, the last few episodes and crossover movie, though imperfect, have shown that they're gradually moving away from simply carbon copying Shinkenger. Let's hope they keep it up.
