Power Rangers Megaforce Graphic Novels

Posted on July 3, 2012 at 12:25 pm by ZeoRangerV under Power Rangers

Amazon.com has revealed two forthcoming graphic novels for the upcoming 20th anniversary series Power Rangers Megaforce. Though Amazon has these listed as Super Samurai graphic novels, Samurai Cast has unveiled further information on them, along with an image that confirms them as Megaforce releases.

The books are titled “Gamer’s End and “Panic in the Parade.

Most interestingly, the book synopses on Samurai Cast reveal the names Mike and Theo for the rangers, along with Creepox and Admiral Malkor for the villains. However, site owner Fury Diamond states that Theo is merely a placeholder name.

POWER RANGERS MEGAFORCE #3: GAMER'S END

    Stefan Petrucha, writer
    Paulo Henrique, artist
Convention catastrophe! To stop a rogue game at a busy show, the Rangers square off against Creepox and . . . Ranger Theo?!

Ranger Theo heads to a gaming con to cheer one of his buddies. But Creepox is there, and he lures Theo into a back room to show him a new video game that looks suspiciously like the convention floor. Unfortunately for the Rangers, it is not a game at all - the fight is on, and it's being unwittingly controlled by their friend!

POWER RANGERS MEGAFORCE #4: PANIC IN THE PARADE

    Stefan Petrucha, writer

With the team distracted by a desparate battle, Admiral Malkor makes his move!

Why is the Yellow Ranger missing while her friends engage in an epic showdown with one of Admiral Malkor's minions? Is the villain somehow using the most innocent Ranger as part of an even deadlier plan?

It'll be really weird if those weren't placeholder names as we've already had two Mikes and a Theo.

I wondered that to, but maybe one of the novels takes place later on in the series. Or he could just start out like that in our version. Which'd be a shame.

They could have him start in his second form and have his first form be his younger brother :P

I figure that instead of being the hidden mastermind behind it all he'll just be the main bad guy throughout, with the other leaders being dropped to sub commanders or something.

He may be a separate character like how they did King Mondo's kids in Zeo versus how that character was a single character in 2 different forms in OhRanger.
