We had a busy end of July and beginning of August, but we're back on track now with the TokuNation.com Top 20 Power Rangers Of All Time list! This year marks the 20th Anniversary for Power Rangers, a rare milestone in any franchise, especially one geared towards kids with toys. We asked TokuNation.com users to rank their favorite Power Rangers a few months ago, we compiled the list, and this is what YOU voted!

SPD Emergency!

Years before Space Patrol Delta would be created on the planet Earth, Anubis "Doggie" Cruger fought against Emperor Grumm and his forces of Troobians on the planet Sirius. Overmatched and outnumbered, the planet Sirius was destroyed, leaving Doggie as its soul survivor. Over time he would become commander of Space Patrol Delta on Earth, and created the Power Rangers to defend it. The Power Rangers had various squadrons, with the A Squad acting as active Power Rangers with the B-Squad working as clean-up and rookies in training. But after the A-Squad mysteriously vanished, Doggie activated the B-Squad and they became the Power Rangers SPD.

A villain who assisted in the destruction of Sirius, General Benagg, arrived on Earth and continued the Troobian assault. Finally able to overcome the pain of his past, Doggie took up his sword once again and became the SPD Shadow Ranger. He continued to mentor the team of B-Squad Power Rangers but his emotions began to sway at the discovery that his wife Isinia was actually still alive and not deceased as Doggie had assumed. After the betrayal of the A-Squad Power Rangers, who had joined with Emperor Grumm, Doggie was reunited with his wife and managed to destroy The Magnificence, a being revealed to be the actual leader of Grumm's forces.

In his final battle, Doggie, unmorphed with his sword, fought Emperor Grumm one last time and managed to slice off his other horn. Grumm was captured, and the war was over. It was revealed years later in an anniversary episode of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive "Once A Ranger" that Doggie had been promoted to "Supreme Commander of SPD", leaving Sky Tate (originally the Blue SPD Ranger and then Red SPD Ranger) in charge of Space Patrol Delta on Earth.

Anubis "Doggie" Cruger was voiced by John Tui, who would eventually play the role of Daggeron, the Solaris Knight on the following year's series Power Rangers Mystic Force (but with no relation to the character Doggie Cruger). Executive Producer Bruce Kalish re-used many cast members, both major and minor characters, in subsequent years during his reign of Executive Producer, but the inclusion of John Tui as a voice over to actual actor was one of the more blatant observations.

John Tui's acting credits began in 2005 with his most notable roles being the voice of Anubis "Doggie" Cruger the Shadow Ranger in Power Rangers SPD as well as the following year with being Daggeron the Solaris Knight in Power Rangers Mystic Force. Arguably his biggest role was playing Chief Petty Officer Walter "The Beast" Lynch in the summer movie Battleship from 2012. John Tui did return to Power Rangers though, as he voiced the villain Pestilox in Power Rangers Super Samurai in 2012.

Okay, I know that Power Rangers has different laws of physics, but how the hell does Cruger's nose fit inside his helmet?
