Bluefin has apparently decided to open its own online storefront for future releases!
At the moment the merchandise offered is minimal aside from some remaining San Diego Comic-Con exclusives- including the SH Figuarts Samurai Sentai Shinkenger figure pack!
Buyers interested in future Tamashii releases should probably keep an eye on this new page for early deals. :)

I saw that, which is pretty awesome.

I guess this is alright, though it isn't like they didn't previously have an outlet for their exclusives. And since they don't yet ship to Canada, this currently does not apply to me, though I assume they'll get to it eventually. I was hoping that the prices would be a bit lower though, like maybe something closer to a 10-20% markup (especially since it's direct from the distributor), which is the case for the Power Rangers set, but is instead a 50% markup for Piccolo.

I was actually just talking about this new site. I've actually been keeping an eye on Amazon.ca for some decent deals from Bluefin.
As for Piccolo, I guess the question is how many they have and how long they will last. SDCC Gohan ended up I think $23 for a while on Amazon.com, so maybe Piccolo will eventually get cheaper himself. If not, I think $60 might be a bit too much for me.
Edit: Apparently you have to email them (at premium@bluefincorp.com) if you want to order from them internationally. I suppose that will eventually be phased out.

Not liking some of their policies.

But Amazon.com ships to Canada anyway so...

Also, I'd heard Canadians complain in the past about not wanting to import for their Bluefin stuff, considering Canada Post, so finally being on Amazon.ca gave them the domestic source they needed as so few other locations up there are directly supplied by Bluefin.
Not thrilled on the return policies but at least it will cover the worst offenses of figure quality.

It kinda bums me out that 90% of the stuff this forum gets excited for basically doesn't apply to me at all as I live in the UK. And even when I can make it apply to me, I have to go out of my way in such a fashion that it doesn't make it worth it any more.

You could always get happy for the 90% who have reasons to get excited.
Sure this kind of news doesn't affect you or me, but like you said we can manage.
Anyways this is great news for USA residents
