S.H.Figuarts Black RX Renewal Coming in April

In addition to Figuarts Imperer, the recent Figuroh scans gives us more detail on the upcoming Renewal Black RX release.

S.H.Figuarts Black RX is currently slated for a release in April 2014, further release details will be announced later.

S.H.Figuarts Acrobatter Renewal was also featured in the the scan but again: other release info is currently TBA

Bandai. Guys. You have the perfect new hip type with Blade, and you're already using it on the renewal bodies including Black. Why not just stick with that for consistency's sake?

Oh well. Still going to get him, as despite the hip design this looks a lot better than the previous Black RX.

I adore all the little wrinkles in his suit.

Need both him and Acrobatter. I won't make the mistake of not preordering the bike too this time.

This is probably the last Kamen Rider SHF toy I will ever buy. My first Kamen Rider and still a favorite. Acrobatter, too!

Why? Is the current crop of KR doing so bad that they have to dive back to the well?

Some of the original Kamen Rider Figuarts, like Kamen Rider Black and RX, really need updates to be able to stand toe to toe with the quality of current releases. Very happy to be getting these updates - especially considering the costs of the inferior originals.

No, they're going back and updating their first releases. That's why we're getting a new Black and Kabuto.

I'm hoping the next renewal release is Agito. I'd love a new, slightly bulkier Ground Form.

Because the first few releases from SHF were decent for their time but are nowhere near today's level of engineering. Nothing wrong with today's riders. Gaim is doing incredibly well.
