In Hand Images of Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legendary Megazord

Posted on November 22, 2013 at 5:27 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

Once again, with permission and thanks to our friend and member Linear Ranger (please follow him on Twitter @LinearRanger) we have now put up all of the images that he shared with his brand new Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legendary Megazord! The toy is the US adaption of the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger GokaihOh.

For starters, we have known since SDCC 2013 that the Legendary Megazord was going to be smaller and have a number of changes compared to it’s Super Sentai counterpart. At NYCC 2013 we saw that the combinations appeared to be different thanks to the back of the packaging that we exclusively had photos of here at TokuNation.com.

So here we go!

  • The Legendary Megazord is almost half the size of GokaiOh
  • The smaller individual zords that form the arms and legs do NOT open like their Sentai counterpart
  • The chest opens of the Sky Ship (Gokai Galleon), but unlike the Gokai Galleon, there is NO cannon inside
  • There are zord builder connector ports all over each leg, arm, and shoulder of the Legendary Megazord

All in all, the toy looks to be a fun addition to any one who enjoys the US side of the Megazords, especially the kids, however for those collectors hoping to replicate their favorite episodes from Gokaiger, they may want to stick to the higher priced GokaiOh. As is normal, you pay more to get more.

The fun thing we have to look forward to is what other combinations are going to release, as the back of the box shows an upcoming Zeo combination that looks to be US-exclusive.

Are you going to get on the Sky Ship Zord and become Legendary? Let us know!

So how long until guncannon109 makes ZordBuilder abominations that incorporate the Legendary Megazord's abundant pegs?

    Because his ZordBuilding is awesome!!

That is indeed a Zeo V Red Battlezord homage you see making a new Megazord combination.

I'm not a fan of those ports and the limbs not being able to open but other than that it looks like a good representation. I'll probably grab this.

It looks like I might get the Japanese version instead. My four year old little cousin will likely love it since he loves pirates.
