Released originally as a Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive in September of 2011, the Greeed Kazari figure from the Kamen Rider OOO series is hard to come by these days without being previously owned – “new/sealed” versions of this figure seem to be non-existent. Luckily, one individual who does own this figure is our very own photo and content staff member ryan – and he has taken a gallery of images to share with you of this great figure!
The figure, coming with the usual hand accessories, also comes with some rather different accessories than you might be used to.
or on the link to check out the full gallery of this different S.H. Figuarts figure! And be sure to let ryan know how much his pictures rock!

Kazari was the second of nine Greed releases from the SHF Kamen Rider OOO line. Originally released in Sept 2011 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive, you'll have to buy this previously owned, but as one of the primary villains of the show, I would say it's a must-buy figure, despite it's lower accessory count.
Accessory-wise, Kazari includes a Tamashii Stage Act 4 (as do all the Greeed Figuarts), two piles of cell medals (messy piles of medals, unlike the stacks that Ankh came with) that can plug into the Stage, and three pairs of hands. What Kazari lacks in accessories, it makes up for in detailed sculpting and numerous, shiny paint apps.

Kazari is beautifully sculpted. The suit was highly detailed and the Figuarts is sculpted to match. This figure is covered in studs and spikes, and all of them have shiny silver paint on it. The lines aren't always as clean as I would like, but I can forgive that for how small most of the studs are. Additionally, the left arm and leg have a ton of silver-painted rings on them, and those are almost uniformly perfectly painted, so the studs don't bother me as much.
Honestly, until taking this photos, I had never noticed that Kazari's design isn't symmetric. The gold with black striping on the right side is awesome, and contrasts nicely with the black look of the left half. The gold and silver paint are both very shiny. One of my favorite things about this figure is the light-piping. The eyes/nose-piece is made out of a clear red plastic, which catches the light quite easily when viewed from a not-straight-on angle. The eyes don't reflect the light as much as the nose, but I like how it looks.
Beware the spiked boot-tops and shoulder pads, they are very rigid and sharp spikes, and they will poke you if you slip while swapping the hands. Speaking of which, the claws on the forearms does make hand swapping a little tricky at times.
Articulation on this figure is decent, though the ankles suffer from not having all the neat jointing earlier Figuarts have. The foot simply plugs into a ball joint which has significantly more limited range of movement than the hinges of say the Ryuki or W Figuarts. Kazari won't be taking keeping his feet flat on the floor in deeper poses. Aside from that, the dreads are slightly bendable, but pretty stiff and make it hard to have the head posed any other way than forward. The extra shoulder pads slightly limit the upward movement of the arms, but not too much.
I believe all of the Greeed Figuarts were Tamashii Web Exclusives, but from what I have seen on Mandarake, their aftermarket price has been trending down of late, so they shouldn't be too hard to acquire, and they look fantastic displayed together as a group, or opposite the various OOO Combo figures.

Beautiful gallery, and Kazari was a great villian. But then I saw Mezool and went all "Mezoooool..."

Oh, man. I wasn't planning on diving into the Greeed figures, but holy moly they look good as a group.

I used to own Kazari, did I sell it to you Ryan? Either way I really liked it but villain figure just don't have the same connection for me that good guys do most of the time. Kazari is easily one of the best looking Greed figures.
