Legacy Dragon Dagger In Hand Images!

Posted on December 15, 2013 at 2:53 pm by DaiRiderRX under Conventions, Other Conventions, Power Rangers

At RoboToyFest in Pasadena, California some lucky folks were finally able to get some hands on experience with the Legacy Dragon Dagger! Here you can see some images of the completed box, a size comparison with the vintage Japanese dagger and a shot of a lucky fan weilding the dagger, finally showing us just how big this thing will be in hand.

Finally my friend Kim Chi Williams, the awesome person who took these images, took a video of the sound effects the dagger makes, which you can view by clicking this link:

Stay tuned to Tokunation for more news about this beautiful item and many more coming in the future in the Legacy toyline

Thanks to my friend Kim Chi Williams for sending this our way. It would appear that someone at the currently Robot Toy Fest has been able to get their hands on an out of box Legacy Dragon Dagger! It's clear that someone has been allowed to handle the Legacy Dragon Dagger, and these are also some of the best shots of the finalized packaging we've seen so far!

And we also have a link to a video demonstration of the Dagger!! (via facebook)

For once something that appears far superior to it's original counterpart. Good job BOA! This thing appears to have quite a good bit of size and heft on the original and I'm hoping pretty accurate sounds. I just hope it doesn't randomly shout Power Rangers when I press one of the keys

for sure the middle button does the old theme song while the other two buttons make the different flute sounds

Don't take this the wrong way, and I don't mean it to insult you, but my honest to goodness first thoughts when seeing the figure comparison was "I wonder how Den-O will hate on this toy"

Anyway, looks nice. I was originally intending on skipping it, but it's looking really good. I just might pick it up.

Very nice. Still not sure if I can take such a hefty pricetag, but very nice nonetheless.
