Legacy Dragon Dagger arrives at Toys R’ Us

Earlier today, I saw that the Dragon Dagger was in the TRU DC in Southern California. Tonight, the deliveries were updated and you can call to see which stores are receiving it on their next truck, which is likely tonight.

TRU is showing some stores in southern California such as Torrance, Bakersfield, West LA, Seal Beach, Hawthorne and Buena Park as pending to receive Dragon Daggers on Tuesday. Others may be receiving it as well.

Pocky Bandit found Dragon Daggers at the TRU in West Covina, CA. I found a Dragon Dagger by calling the TRU in Mesa, AZ. I ordered mine over the phone with free shipping and will receive it later this week or early next week.

Not seeing a TRU exclusive sticker.

Well the thing is these aren't really TRU exclusive. Previews Catalogue through Diamond Distributors confirms these things will be more akin to regular retail. Though they won't ship to comic and specialty shops til May, you can indeed order them from a comic shop. So these things will be more widely available than previous Legacy Collection items.

Yeah Dagger and Dragonzord aren't exclusives. I'm sure people will still try to price gouge before the wider release hits. A good thing about not being exclusive, is that TRU can't just price hike for no reason. Though, I don't know that we price match the other places these will be sold.

Either way, I hope my store gets them in the next 2 weeks so I can get it cheaper.
