Former Power Rangers stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt has put up another production video from the filming of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ second season in Japan- a collection of footage generally referred to by fans as “Zyu2.”
While there is no sound, this video gives us great detail on the Zyu2 era footage and even includes a number of shots that went unused by Saban!

More like an sound-not-yet-muxed footage to me, but there is one thing I don't understand. some helmets have locks on the edges while some do not like the Yellow Ranger's at 0:48. Why don't they do all the helmets without the lock?
This was fun and educating for those who have wondered about Zyu2 all of this time. Primator, Bloom of Doom, Invenusable Fly Trap, OctoPhantom, and TurbanShell now have answers. Some things make sense as to why they were cut, but others I felt could have been used elsewhere. In the Primator episode, the Reds fought and one was knocked over toward the group. The lone Red said that the one they had was a fake and then we see all of them around a downed Pink and the fake blasts them down. Answered! Many shots of the Fly Trap were cut and whether or not the Venus Island plot was a PR idea or not, you can see why ambient shots with background buildings were cut or replaced. Sadly, no Dragonzord Battle Mode for that Zord Fight, but I could swear that the Fly Trap is using Shadam's sword from Dairanger. The Bloom of Doom had a few ground shots cut, but the Zord battle is what makes you wonder. No additional form as was seen in a cameo during a Turbo episode. Just a bunch of confetti acting as pollen against a black background. Also, no human-sized Turban Shell or associating Piranhtis-Head as some have assumed. Either way, Nice. Good Reveal, Jeff.
Green-Red Monkey Ranger is awesome.... They should have had Zyu 2 limited edition figuarts.
