Garo: Seal of Flames Cast Confirmed!

The voices for the upcoming GARO anime project have finally been revealed!

*Leon Lewis, the animated Garo, will be voiced by Daisuke Namikawa an outstanding voiceover veteran perhaps best know to tokusatsu fans as Speedor from Engine Sentai Go-Onger. 

*Herman Lewis, Leon’s guardian, is portrayed by Kenyu Horiuchi another long-term performer with several projects under his belt. 

*New Makai Priestess Emma will be played by Romi Park, whose previous voicework includes Digimon Adventure 02, Naruto and Kill la Kill.

*Last but not least, the mysterious prince Alfonso will be voiced by Katsuhito Nomura a relative newcomer to voice acting. 

In addition, JAM Project will be returning to GARO once again & perform the opening theme of this new anime project.

Garo: Seal of Flames will premiere in Fall 2014 (exact release date still unconfirmed. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

    I don't recognise many lead anime roles for Daisuke Namikawa personally, but he seems to be the main guy in Black Lagoon. Interesting.

    Kenyu Horiuchi I haven't heard anything in other than Kill la Kill (where he was Mako's dad), but he seems to have done a few Gundam shows.

    Katsuhito Nomura seems to have done very few other roles.

    Finally Romi Park is Edward Elric (also Ragyo in Kill la Kill). Enough said.

    Not a bad lead cast at all.

    Honestly, if this anime didn't have the words Garo in front of it, I probably wouldn't even care. Everything about it just sounds and looks so generic.

    Personally I don't think its likely unless somewhere like Crunchyroll decides to simulcast/stream it first. But anything's possible I guess.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Funimation picks it up.

    Daisuke Namikawa as main lead are in Persona 4 (Yu Narukami), Beck (Koyuki), and many more. Other than Speedor, he also voiced N-Ma in Magiranger.

    Romi Park was also Dayuu in Shinkenger.

    I hope so. Some subbers like TV-Nihon dubs it because it's a anime based on a live action show. Seal of Flames seems to be a stand alone show. So you could sell it in the US.
