A few new images have surfaced online, giving us our first real look at the face behind the 15th Hesei Era Kamen Rider!
According to The Tokusatsu Network, Kamen Rider Drive’s true name is Shinnosuke Tomari. He is described as a car fanatic and police officer in his off-hours. The Drive transformation works by changing a Shift Car into Lever Mode and then inserting it to the Shift Bracelet. Perhaps the most surprising news from the scans thus far is the Drive Driver TALKS to Shinnosuke during combat & offers him helpful advice!
If all goes well, Kamen Rider Drive should begin airing the first weekend in October! Stay tuned to TokuNation until then for further details!

He looks like he'll be fun. I can't wait to see him and Kouta team up.
Now that's something different. We had cheerful riders before the last few years, but he seems to be the innocent child-like type? Didn't expect someone like him under the Drive helmet, but the surprise sure is a positive one, he looks like a fun, likeable person.
I have yet to hear or see 1 thing that I don't immediately like about this show. I really like the idea of a sentient belt that gives advice. It's like Kamen Knight Rider!

I get this feeling that this rider is supposed to be more geared towards kids.
Which yes... that is the point of riders and sentai... but I'm just getting a real heavy "Younger audience only" vibe...
Have you guys seen the scans of how the Tire Sash changes? OMG it looks so badass.
While many people are happy to see a MC work as a police, I look at that differently.
Based on the police Jdrama history Tomari Shinosuke will most likely be killed at the end of the show, just because it is how the formula works.
If he is not the one his closest friend will be his substitute.
