The Power Rangers film project has lost its Executive Producer.
Screen veteran Roberto Orci has reportedly backed out of the project, choosing instead to devote full attention to Star Trek 3.
Power Rangers is still set to return to theaters on July 22 2016 with a screenplay by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. Stay tuned to TokuNation until then as we keep you up to date on any & all production news!

I'll hold off judgement on if this is a bad thing or not until we have confirmation on who's replacing him.

I hope they find a good replacement. I do think we can get a decent Power Rangers movie with a right crew. Orci on board give me hope on the movie being decent similar on the lines of RPM and Time Force.
This could go either way, but I'm still optimistic. May it work out well for both Star Trek and Power Rangers.

Dodged one bullet, here's to hoping they can dodge another by getting a good replacement for Orci.
