Someone just put up a review of Drive's Driver. It's smaller than I expected, but I like the screen thingy. Also, we now have the names for (some of) his finishers.

I'm just not really feeling into this unfortunately. It does have some cool features, like the screen and the interactivity between the Driver and wrist attachment, but it still just doesn't grab my interest the way the Sengoku Driver did. One thing that bothered me in particular is that it seems to have a fan or something behind the screen that is pretty loud. Even with all of the Driver sounds going on I could still hear that fan running in the background. I hope it isn't too bad in hand, but it seems like it could get annoying really quickly.
I think my main issue is the Shift Cars. They look cool, but they don't have any interesting functionality apart from how they interact with the Driver. Even without a Sengoku Driver the Lockseeds are fun because of the locking/unlocking mechanism and they can still play sounds. The Shift Cars don't seem to have any value on their own without a Driver.

I don't like how much that thing talks.

I for one love everything about this Driver. The Sounds, the look and especially how the thing works. The Screen is just incredible and I dont think that the fan will be as loud in person than it is on the video. The Infrared signals are also pretty impressive and its great to see that it works without becoming problematic. Yeah the Shift Cars dont work as big on their own and to be honest do they really have to? With all the Stuff the Drive Driver and Shift Brace already do I think its not that big of a deal that the Cars dont have a million sounds on their own.
The Sengoku Driver and Drive Driver are so different from each other as the Double Driver and OOO Driver were five years ago. The gimmick of the cars is that they are cars. The Locks needed the sounds since they were just locks. Playing with a lock that does nothing except open and close would be no fun. With the Shift Cars you have fully functional Toy Cars that are also compatible with the DX Trideron toy.
At least they are not the Switches were there only function outside the Belt was literally nothing.

But yeah, thinking of it that way they do seem pretty fun. I had forgotten about the compatibility with Trideron as well, that definitely adds some good play value.
