Bad news for those of you collecting the S.H. Figuarts line of characters for the popular Kamen Rider Gaim series. Normally, exclusives from these type of events show up as Tamashii Web Exclusives a month or two after said event is over. But it would appear that this time almost all the exclusives from the show will be available only as Lucky Draw items – basically super rare items.
The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Baron Lemon Energy Arms figure is one of the said exclusives from this month’s Tamashii Nations Event that will be available only as a Lucky Draw item after the event. This means that unless you have purchased a pre-order from a few hobby shops attending the event, or have someone attending the event, you will be stuck looking on the secondary market for this item. It’s almost a guarantee that Mandarake will have the item pop up from time to time over the next few months, but the availability is not guaranteed in the slightest.

I mean it could be worse and we could be writing this about any of the as-yet-unreleased Riders instead (although if it were the movie guys or Jam I'd be less bothered), but still.
It's going to drive the cost up. I went ahead and dropped $85 on a hobby shop's pre-order because I will gladly pay an extra $20 to not deal with Mandarake for 2 months at 7000 yen.
Well, when life gives you lemons.
I missed pre-orders all over the place for this. The Gaim figures I missed are going to cost me a fortune.
Is the Magma Effect piece going to go this way, too?
