S.H. Figuarts Kuuga Renewal was on display recently at a toy event, and we have our first look not only at finished product but his box as well! The photo comes courtesy of @shfindo.

Kuuga Renewal sports the same iPhone style box as Hibiki and Kabuto both did as a part of the Shinkocchou Seihou subline. Interestingly, the finished sample has more of a matte finish compared to shiny metallic that the initial production gallery did, though this could be due to bad lighting.

The figure will be a retail release in April for 5,400 yen.

    So pretty. Paint seems flatter than in those promo pics, but maybe it's a lighting thing.

    I do wonder about that myself because you see hints of the metallic on the arm braces.

    While I like the metallic look for the 'modern finish', I wouldn't mind if the final version ends up a bit more flat. It would make him show accurate.
