Pretty impressive piece.

Not to sound horribly negative, but I'm not quite sure what to think of this figure. On the positive side, it IS 200% better than the one that comes with Shurikenjin, and that box art is just retro goodness (the clamshell packaging made me cringe though). However, I feel like if this was meant to be a poseable figure, it should have had double jointed head/elbows/knees and a SHF-styled ankle joint. If it was meant to be a Chogokin, then it is a SERIOUS disappointment. Just as the preview pictures showed, there is hardly ANY diecast on this figure, just enough to put it around the same diecast content as early SHFs like the Kabuto ones. I know this sounds like nitpicking/entitlement, but this really shouldn't be called Chogokin at all. But for what it is, I suppose they could have done much worse.

I see this as being close to an SHF ShinobiMaru as we'll ever get. I wouldn't be opposed to getting this somewhere down the road providing the aftermarket on this guy isn't ridiculous.

I couldn't understand a word of that, but this seems to be a pretty cool figure.
Won't be the same, but I kinda hope that when BoA eventually get their hands on this series, that they make some articulated action figures of the humanoid robots. Especially the blue colored robot from the Lone Raner's mechanical bull buggy mech.
