Another tidbit was given to us from Saban Brands regarding the Gold Ranger. The Examiner.com was given an in-depth expose of the new character to the Power Rangers. Ivan, the Gold Ranger, found the Gold Energem 800 years ago. He was ambushed by the villain Fury and imprisoned within him, but not before he bonded with the power of the Gold Energem. With help from the Power Rangers Dino Charge, Ivan was able to break out of his prison inside Fury and joins the team. Ivan values honesty and loyalty above all other traits and practices them himself through and through. Because he missed 800 years, he adds a sense of innocence to the team much like Koda the Blue Ranger. He wields the Ptera Morpher and Ptera Saber, and calls upon the Ptera Zord which transforms in to the Ptera Charge Megazord to fight with the other Power Rangers!
