With the 40th Super Sentai Series drawing closer and closer, a new round of magazine scans offers us even more information about the heroes of Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger!
*The four Rangers of Zyuland (Sera, Leo, Tusk & Amu) along with Yamato of Earth are drawn together by an artifact know as the Link Cube– a device that opens the connection between their worlds. The Link Cube identifies true Champions and gives this team the power to henshin, and also allows the Zyumans to obtain human form (athough they retain some animal characteristics).
*Each Zyuohger has a power-up form known as Instinct Awakened that brings out their animal spirits! ZyuohEagle gains wings, ZyuohTiger & ZyuohLion both grow large claws, ZyuohShark gains fins and ZyuohElephant develops gigantic feet.
*The scans provide several excellent shots of ZyuohKing in combat, and demonstrate future combinations with the various Zyuoh Cubes.
*This seasons’ method of monster-growing is revealed as well: The female Deathgalian, Nalia inserts an item called a Continue Medal into a defeated warrior, activating the second round of the Blood Game.

The more i see. The more i like. Love the Zords. If this becomes a power rangers one day i will buy the hole toy line.
I hope for things this team has more then 5 Rangers & that this becomes a power rangers season one day.
I'm ready for this to come already.

The forms look pretty fun in action. It's a cool idea, despite the weird look. The mecha are kinda adorable too.

Zyumans
- Zyumans are anthropomorphic beings from Zyuland, a world that is different from Earth. Zyumans have animal-like heads and have physical abilities that surpass humans.
- Zyuland and the human world is linked via the Link Cube. To open the Link Cube six Right of a King are needed.
- A "Right of a King" is a cube that has the power to protect a zyuman. It becomes a Zyuoh Changer. As a boy, Yamato was entrusted to him a Right of a King by a mysterious birdlike-man.
Finishing attacks
- Finisher 1 - Zyuoh Shoot: Performed with the Zyuoh Buster. In gun mode the Zyuohgers shoot a powerful beam at the same time.
- Finisher 2 - Zyuoh Slash: In sword mode, the Zyuohgers dash towards the enemy and slash their enemy with all they got.
Special ability of the Zyuman members
- Zyuoh Shark: The power of a shark enlarges the fin on her back and in this state she can tackle and slash enemies.
- Zyuoh Lion: The power of a lion reaches its peak on both hands and gives him claws of steel.
- Zyuoh Elephant: The power of an elephant is focused on both feet that become enlarged, allowing him to stomp enemies.
- Zyuoh Tiger: The power of a tiger is focused on both hands, allowing her to agilely tear through evil-doers.
Zyuoh Cubes
- When called upon, they transform from their cube forms into animal forms.
- Cube Eagle has attack with a beam.
- Cube Shark can swim the seas and bite its enemies.
- Cube Lion can run through the earth and chase down enemies anywhere.
- Cube Elephant can use its long nose to attack.
- Cube Tiger can cut its enemies with its huge claws.

Keeping an open mind, it is starting to resemble a cross between Go-Onger and Shinkenger. And I dig the Gatchaman stuff going on for the Red Ranger.
It's slowly growing on me. Sloooowwwllllyyyyy.....
Looks neat. I like that they can gain more animal attributes while morphed.
Like a lot about this, though I really hate the front of their costumes. Looks like they are wearing long-sleeve shirts they got from Sea World or Busch Gardens. The Helmets look good, especially since we've gotten quite a few variations of all of these animals in the past. I'd say the Green Ranger (with the trunk making the visor look different from the others) and Red (with the mouthplate/beak) are the best. Lion and Tiger are just lazy.
As for the their special powers? Eagle is expected and Elephant, while looking goofy, is at least something different. But once again Tiger and Lion are utterly lazy. They should have made White a different animal... I would have gone with Serpent, which would have been different from anything we've gotten, and made her special ability be a whip-like tail.
