Live action or another anime?

I believe this is the Live Action show. I don't think they would do another anime before the other one finishes.

That is really soon for a show we have heard next to nothing about. Usually we have a decent idea of the cast and premise by now. Hell, we usually have at least one trailer more than two weeks before the show airs. I wonder what's up with the lack of information.

That said, it's non-cartoon Garo so I'm there. Just hope it's better than the last few series.

I really wish we knew more. I'm okay with something different as long as they really are episodes with stories, not just, say, information about the franchise read out.

The sheer levels of secrecy surrounding this intrigues me.

My personal theory? We're getting a load of individual stories set in this universe with different characters every week (Like a week or two with one knight or priest then off somewhere else), and that they're being so tight-lipped about it makes me wonder if they have a surprise up their sleeve too. Would love a solo Taiga episode, always loved the flashbacks with him in season 1.

I think the great thing about where Garo's at, is that no one ever seems to talk of a bad experience working on it, and you get the impression that if people are free, they'll come back.

It feels great to be excited about Garo, because Guren no Tsuki depresses me with how poor it is, and that it might be some people's first/only exposure to Garo.

I was thinking individual stories with different characters in any universe--whatever their respective universe happens to be. That may be what you meant, though.

With that being said, does anyone have any particular Knight as a favorite? My favorite is Kiba. The first and greatest Villain in my opinion.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I was assuming all the live-action Garos are one big timeline, with Ryuga being some kind of distant-future Garo long after the Saejima bloodline. For example, we could get, say a Raiga story one week, then Ryuga the next, then the following week we're in Kantai with Jabi and Rekka. Maybe this is the season they fill in a few of the gaps

Favourite Knight? Zero. I just love Rei Suzumura as a character, from when he first appears in season one, through Makai Senki, even Black Blood (whatever the flaws are in that, it's not your lead character) and his appearance as Raiga's mentor in Makai no Hana. A lesser show would have kinda pushed him to the side once his arc was over. They can still do satisfying things with him. He's an angsty hero, but manages to move on and his own losses motivate him to help others. His solo episodes in Makai Senki are some of my favourite Garo episodes ever.
