Toei has put up a new page detailing a special Blu-Ray double release for two special Kamen Rider films: Kamen Rider The First and Kamen Rider The Next!
Written by tokusatsu veteran Toshiki Inoue, these two films offer a unique retelling of the original Kamen Rider story.
This Blu-Ray set is currently scheduled for release on August 3 2016 with a price of 12500 Yen.

The First was alright. It was kinda boring, but I like the idea of re-adapting the original show into something more darker and serious. I feel like The First was ahead of its time. I think if the First came out today done in a similar tone to Amazons, it could be much better.

I don't think The First is terrible, but it isn't incredible. The redesigned suits are cool. But The Next is pretty bad.
