LVUR01 Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Action Gamer Offical Images

Posted on September 4, 2016 at 12:23 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

With the launch of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid’s first wave of toys hitting next month, Bandai’s finally gone ahead and released official images of this year’s transforming gimmick based action figure line.

Of course, the Level Up Rider series starts off with none other than Ex-Aid himself, the package well include a way for him to turn into both his Action Gamer and LV-1 form.

There’s no clear indication on how the two pieces will interact, though the various plugs and ports all over the figure’s body suggests that there will be some sort of armour on gimmick ala the Cast Off Rider series from Kamen Rider Kabuto’s line.

LVUR01 Ex Aid Action Gamer will be hitting shelves in October, with an asking price of 4200 yen.

So, toy-wise I assume they work like the Kabuto Cast Off system?

Yeah that's what I figured too, considering all the ports he has all over his body.

That's expensive for a gimmick toy, it's going to be hard for those of us who rely on middlemen, especially if the show is going to have a lot of Riders.

Ex-Aid will be more expensive than Snipe, Genmu, and Brave, since only Ex-Aid comes with the Level 1 shell. I gather that the others only come with the faceplate, so you can only display one Level 1 Rider at a time.

That's a lot for a figure like this.

I was anticipating more of a transformation, rather than just an armor shell, but eh, it's fine as it is.
If what Tokumonkey said is true, then I think it's kind of dumb. Only including the armor bits with one figure?

I foresee the missing pieces coming in an Premium Bandai set in the near future.
