Announcing iam8bit Officially Licensed Power Rangers Items – Vinyl Soundtrack, Screen Print, and More

This year has been quite the year for officially licensed Mighty Morphin Power Rangers product and today we were given a special treat – the company iam8bit has officially revealed their upcoming licensed product. Included in the first batch of products are:

  • Limited Edition Screen Print (350 available)
  • Power Rangers: The OG Vinyl Soundtrack
  • Power Rangers: An OG Coloring/Activity Book
  • Power Rangers Enamel Pins (available as a set which nets you an exclusive Rita Repulsa pin)
  • Power Rangers Pencil Set
  • Power Rangers Wrapping Paper

    iam8bit is opening up pre-orders for their officially licensed Power Rangers collection this Friday, November 4th, at 09:00 AM PDT (10:00 AM Mountain, 11:00 AM Central, and 12:00 PM Eastern). I'd love to grab a copy of the soundtrack on vinyl!

    Here is the list of items:

    • Power Rangers Screen Print (Limited to 350). - $60.00
    • Power Rangers: The OG Vinyl Soundtrack - $25.00
    • Power Rangers: An OG Color/Activity Book - $12.00
    • Power Rangers Enamel Pins - $10.00* each
    • Power Rangers Pencil Set - $10.00
    • Power Rangers Wrapping Paper - $10.00

    * - The enamel pins are randomly issued, unless all seven are bought as a set, which scores an exclusive Rita Repulsa pin.

    I'm not gonna lie. If I was still in grade school, I would've flipped for the PR pencil set

    I'm semi interested in the pins, but with them being $10 a pop (About $8 more expensive than a pin has any right to be), and being randomly issued, yeah, nah...

    The screen print looks pretty cool, and I bet the vinyl sound track would be cool, too, but those just aren't for me.

    Those pins are really amateurish. Like, even ignoring the style, they just look like they were sketched in Flash or soemthing in a few minutes.

    True, but with that simplistic look, I think they turned out better than the awful pins MONDO cranks out. Of course, having said that, I'm still not buying any.

    Vinyl? Lame. I get that vinyl is becoming more and more of a thing again, a lot of the artists I listen to have been doing special vinyl printings of their older material. But they really can't offer us a CD release too?

    They don't make CDs. They're a niche gallery that primarily produces art and vinyl records, usually related to pop culture. Similar to MONDO, but without all the bullcrap bots buying everything the second it goes on sale.
