Not cool how the female rangers all must hit the red ranger.
prfctcellrulz says
Really? No Megazord? Really?!

I like it's morphin time is in there. But Ninja spin.. Not so much.
I all so like how the yellow & white rangers are boyfriend & girlfriend. It's been a Very Long time from when rangers were a boyfriend girlfriend thing.
The zords are ok.
Red bot is not a zord. hmmmm ok..
I still call B.S. on how they still act as if know one knows who & what power rangers are. Human's of earth know.
With all of this said. This looks like a grate season. I like all 5 rangers.

This got a 5/5 although there was plenty that could have caused me to give it less.
Cons -
- After all this speculation on if the Rangers and their zords and whether or not it would be a Ninja Storm like transformation (ie: Kody the dog becomes Kodiak the Zord) ... we discover that no, no they do not. Not even close. They aren't even created, they just appear. That's very very weak.
- Brody. Continues to not showcase his acting capabilities. I mean, the whole "omg my brother" scene felt so forced and so wrong. I hope he improves as the season goes on.
Pros? Caleb and Hayley are pro's. The fact we have our first "start the series as a couple" couple is great. Sarah and Brody will probably get together and that leaves poor Preston as the loner. Poor Preston.

Also it's pretty interesting that they're already starting the "Search for the Sixth (Gold) Ranger" arc THIS early.

Overall the acting seems to have taken a step back since Dino Charge, but it's not the worst thing ever. I LOVE the Galaxy Warriors show concept, it's like Hero TV from Tiger & Bunny but run by villainous slapsticky aliens. I feel like the characters are, for the most part, gonna be great for development-centric episodes, so far I like Preston and Sara the best. Heck, even Mick is starting to grow on me!
It probably won't be as good as Dino Charge but it's still gonna end up being lightyears better than Samurai and Megaforce.
GoseiWonder says
So Brody isn't a Space Human like Heckyl or Andros huh? Neat.
TokuKnight89 says
An attempt with a few decent points that make it just passable. Brody is not memorable at this point, but most feel like they haven't been fleshed-out enough. Honestly, Mick and the villains are far better to listen to! Mick is designed to be funny, and Galvanax has gotten more screen time than anyone outside of Brody! Despite the lack of explanation as to how the Zords come into play, this did show that certain details will not be ignored. We see the Prism and the sixth Power Star is inexplicably missing, which receives the earliest, indirect Sixth Ranger reference in PR history (save for Robo Knight). Also, Mick "creates" the Zord Stars when mentioning the legends behind the Prism, which he explains later. I'm also not surprised that the Megazord wasn't formed because of the Dino Charge copying. The DC first was PR-exclusive and the second used footage from Kyoryuger Ep. 1 which didn't involve combination. They probably wanted to introduce the Zords before they combine them, which is mildly redeeming because that means the battles might not be straight-up Sentai footage. Not perfect, but some potential remains.

This definitely felt more polished than the first episode. And it also felt UNIQUE, not just copying key parts from Dino Charge.
So Kelson Henderson is basically the mentor for this season? he's come up in the world since Boom days...
also, Brody's actor remains the weakest of the cast. I really hope he doesn't drag down this season.
