The last of the original mechs from the first wave of the new Super Sentai series Uchu Sentai Kyuranger has been reviewed by wotakufighter. This time, Washi Pink‘s personal mecha, the DX 08 Washi Voyager, is front and center. Personally speaking, it looks to be my favorite in terms of design and detail. There’s also a bonus feature that isn’t advertised – got to love those secondary pegs for future mech releases! Check out the video below.

Okay, Wotafa wins. I'm puzzled as to why none of the promotional images for Washi Voyager show that it can become a backpack/wings for KyurenOh, which is just a way better configuration. Wotafa reversing the orientation of the wings in arm mode also makes that mode look more like a weapon and less like "Hey, I've got a bird stuck to my arm." There are clearly a few good posing options for the Voyager in its bird mode. I am no longer unimpressed with this one.
yeah the reversed wings make it look like a crossbow type weapon or a double blade
the wing backpack configuration is a nice surprise
I like that it can turn into a wing pack, but I wish the wings were bigger.
