A plethora of new magazine scans for Uchu Sentai KyuRanger have been posted online, giving some excellent details about two new additions to this Super Sentai team!
*First up comes the Dragon Master, RyuCommander! The elite warrior Xiao Longpo taps into his personal KyuTama becoming a new violet Ranger! Armed with the powerful Ryutsueder Staff RyuCommander can summon the mighty Ryu Voyager to fight off Jark Matter attacks! RyuVoyager can link with other Voyagers to form a new Mecha combo, RyuTeiOh!
*Next is the Big Star, Koguma SkyBlue! The 11th KyuRanger draws powers from the Ursa Major & Ursa Minor KyuTamas, and attacks enemies with powerful claws hidden beneath his gloved hands. Koguma SkyBlue will control two new Voyagers- Koguma and Ohguma Voyagers.
Definitely some exciting adventures ahead for the 41st Super Sentai Series!

I so want this to be after super ninja steel. I would like to see them go to like KO35 or Terra Venture.
The more I see of Ryu Commander the more I think of him as the "sixth" of this season. I originally thought of him as the Kruger. The mentor that fights when necessary, but looking at all the scans it doesn't feel like that anymore. From the separate mecha, to the new changer, and the look of his suit.
Ryu's mecha isn't a carrier that rarely gets used, his changer isn't just a repaint of the main team, and his suit is more inline with the rest of the team, while looking just different enough. Ryu feels more Deka Break than Deka Master to me now. I'm happy about this. He looks to cool too just be on the sidelines.
Does make me wonder about the rumored two rangers that we MIGHT see when the Q3 scans leak in a week or so. Will they be like Skyblue in that he looks like the main team? Or will they get a new variant of the suits throwing my whole theory into limbo.
And we were all right. Skyblue is that kid!! I mean it was an obvious set up, but y'know.
so wait that bear guy is in the Kyutama like the Bear Zyuuman looking guy
The scan says Kotaro becomes Koguma Skyblue after wishing to be a "star of hope" that protects Earth.
Though I would like to point out that the "kuma" in Sakuma does not use the kanji for bear. Just want to point that out for those who might think that.
Sakuma is written like this > 佐久間
Kuma(bear) is written like this > 熊
I'm loving the helmet designs of them both. How the visor of the bear covers the front half of the helmet and purple has a beard going on. Haha.
Skyblue's helmet is the best of the series.
Scan also says that his personal weapon is his scarf that has a mace attached to the end. He can twirl it around like a nunchaku to fight.
Ryu Commander's title is Dragon Master, Koguma Skyblue is Big Star.
cool design, to bad the series isn't as cool as the suit in my opinion
