Continuing along with releases, P-Bandai’s finally gearing up to release S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Orb Thunder Breaster first spotted at a Tamashii Nations Shanghai event some time ago.

Pre-orders for S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Orb Thunder Breaster will begin November 2, 2017, and will see a release in May 2018. The price for this figure will be 6,480 yen before middleman fees and shipping wherever applicable. As is the usual case with Ultraman figures, an effect piece will be included with the figure along with an assortment of alternate hands.

    He looks cool but I don't need it enough to pay the Web-Exclusive price.

    Also, I was lowkey hoping for an SHF Ultraman Belial teaser now that both Ultraman Geed and Thunder Breaster are announced, but oh well, it will be done eventually.

    Ughhh torn on this. On the one hand, its an Orb fusion of my two favourite Ultramen. On the other, it's yet another exclusive.

    Will have to think this over. Maybe I'll gamble on the change it might not get hit too hard on the aftermarket. Need to prioritise the original series exclusives because those things do go up in value.

    Alex, don't be weak. Give into the dark one and pre-order him now with me. It's technically the first new articulated figure Belial's gotten in years I must have it!

    If that's technically the first new articulated figure Belial's gotten in years then what is Ultraman Geed exactly?

    That guy's using Belial as an asset for transforming just like Orb, and he's literally Belial's son/clone on top of it

    I know I know. If the preorder window closes in January I'll be all over it. If not then Zarab has to take priority

    I hope we get a reissue or updated sculpt Belial figure. His past figures are crazy expensive on the aftermarket new or used. All these Belial-related characters getting figures really makes me wonder if a new Belial figure is just around the corner.

    I'd like to think so. I absolutely love Belial. He & Zero are what really got me into Ultra in the first place. He's just such a devilishly evil villain. The kind you can love to hate. I still have the original Ultra-Act Belial which I did a review of a few months ago for this site. It still holds up quite well with contemporary figures. But it's desperately in need of some upgrades. Belial's resurgence in the last couple series has got to lead into a new figure somewhere soon.
