Friday at Power Morphicon – Panels, Events, and More!

Attention fans of the Power Rangers! The bi-annual official Power Morphicon is officially UNDER WAY here at Anaheim, California! Today is Friday, August 17th 2018 which means it is day one for Power Morphicon and the biggest celebration of the Power Rangers and its 25th Anniversary. So what is happening today?

You can begin checking in to the convention (if you pre-registered) at 12pm! Use a photo ID and/or your printed invoice to receive all of your swag and head down to the official convention store to pick up all your pre-ordered merchandise. After that – you wait! The fun begins at 4pm PDT.

Main Room A

4pm – ThunderStorm

Join the various cast and crew of Power Rangers Ninja Storm and Power Rangers Dino Thunder as they take a look back on their iconic seasons.

5pm – SUPER! Morphin’ Time!

Relive the Power Rangers Samurai/Super Samurai and Power Rangers Megaforce/Super Megaforce with various cast and crew from the two recent series.

6pm – B:Squad Reunion – Power Rangers SPD

The B:Squad from Power Rangers SPD reunite for one epic panel. All five Rangers as well as Greg Aronowitz are in attendance. Don’t miss it!

7pm – Shining Special Rangers

A variety of Silver, Gold, and a Titanium Ranger join together to discuss their roles as sixth and special Power Rangers.

8pm – No Pink Spandex

One of the oldest and longest running Power Rangers podcasts comes together in this panel as they interview Greg Mitchell, formerly of Bandai America.

9pm – Rocco from Mega64

He’s a big gaming YouTuber and he’s also a Power Rangers fan! Come hang out with Rocco from Mega64.

4pm – Suits and Stunts

Ever wonder how they pull off those fight scenes, or what it was like to wear a monster costume? A variety of panelists who worked behind the scenes of your favorite Power Rangers series share their stories.

5pm – Make It A Lightspeed Rescue!

Sean CW Johnson talks about what it was like to be the most badass Power Ranger ever. The other panelists listen, because you don’t talk over Sean CW Johnson. Because he’s Carter Grayson.

6pm – The Art of Voice Acting

Power Rangers is all about suits and fighting monsters. Join a panel of a variety of voice actors who have provided voices for some of your favorite villains over the years.

7pm – Making Props Masterclass

Learn from some of the masters on how to make quality, affordable, and realistic props. Anyone interested in doing their own films NEEDS to see this panel!

8pm – Power Rangers Trivia Contest

Database Ranger reminds you how not-smart you are as he hosts a Power Rangers trivia contest that will destroy you entirely. NOTE: I tried this once. I failed in the first question, and I consider myself a lifer in terms of Power Rangers love. But it is HILARIOUS to watch.

9pm – YouTube’rs to the Rescue

Join Andre Meadows (Black Nerd Comedy) and Linkara (Atop the Fourth Wall) and others as they discuss YouTube stuff.
