It suddenly occurred to me that, since the scans from the first toy catalog have been released, it might be a good... er... time to start a thread in this forum.
What are folks planning on picking up? Rider Kicks? Ride Watches? The candy toys, of which there'll be a bundle?
I'm mulling over Rider Kicks, both to have a version of Zi-O (and maybe Gates) before the inevitable Figuarts, and because I'm very slightly curious about the Armor Time gimmick. It looks like the Ride Armor for build has elbow joints, and knee joint seem likely. This may provide a tiny bit of articulation, similar to the ability for LVUR Ex-Aid to slightly move his arms with the Dragon Knight Hunter armor.
Another theory about how it works: it suddenly occurred to me that the FullBottle shoulder pauldrons may be removable, making it easy to swap which side is which when moving from Zi-O Build to Gates Build.
What's interesting the rest of you about the new toy line?

I might just pick up the Zi-O figure from Rider Kicks. At least, that's all I have planned for the moment. I can't say I care a whole lot for the gimmick since they're Legend Rider forms, but it'd be nice to start a collection of main Rider figures on somewhat of a budget.
The Driver looks nice, but as I said, not too big on Legend Rider thing. My opinion might change though, once I hear the voice and sounds it outputs. Those can be big factors for me. I wasn't too fond of the Evol Driver when it was released since it just looked like a Build Driver with a new paint job, but the voice sold me on it.

I'm getting as many Ride Watches I can get my mitts on. The Cross-Z Ride Watchbeing a campaign item for the first wave of drivers doesn't help lol

Probably gonna refrain from this line for the most part, actually collecting all the DX RideWatches would be hilariously costly (by my estimate it was around 46,000 yen just for the first quarter) and honestly I just think the RideWatches are some of the least aesthetically pleasant looking collectibles in years. As it is, probably just gonna aim for a few favorites. Ex-Aid, Ryuki, Faiz, Wizard...May get Build just to check them out early. Though also what the voice is like will play a big part.
Some of the Gashapon/SG stuff I'm sure is gonna be really tempting since a lot of my favorite characters are secondaries or tertiaries I'd definitely get a Zolda no matter what form it took.
I'd also be interested in some Showa watches, actually, but who knows if they'll actually do those.

Good point about waiting to hear the voice. For the past several years, the voices have tended to be irritating-to-extremely-irritating. I know it's unlikely to ever go back, but I really miss the days when the chatty Driver (or baubles) actually sounded kinda cool (Faiz, Kabuto, Decade.) I've always wanted to find the person at Bandai who first said, "Hey, why don't we make the voice really over-the-top" and then vigorously shake them.

I'm really loving the Gundam at the moment and I've wanted it since I saw it. Aside from that... I really wanna see more information about the Rider Kicks/Armour line before making any decisions on it. How exactly it works, what the articulation's like, etc. Depending on the line I like picking up gimmick figures with a lot of mix and matching representing forms that you just wouldn't get in SH Figuarts, and also is just plain fun sometimes. So I'm really hoping this gimmick is enjoyable and doesn't hamper articulation too much.

Well, I actually kind of like the over-the-top voices and effects for the Drivers. It's just a matter of Preference. I would rather get the Build or OOO Driver over say, Gaim or Ghosts.

(Belated: just realized I should'a named this thread "It's About Time" Whoops.)

The Bandai candy blog's most recent Ex-Aid post shows the hand of an upcoming Zi-O figure, and it's a posed hand as opposed to the standard holding-things hands that have been the norm. Looks like that line will inherit the swappable hands they've piloted with the Kyuranger, LvsP, and Build-special sets. They also re-branded their Kamen Rider candy toy page with Zi-O, so we'll likely see an article about the SODO equivalent soon.

pretty interested in the Rider Kicks figures. I already sort of want a couple of them, I'm sure once I see more I'll want more.
