Bandai is going retro with this next entry in the popular Super Minipla line. If you haven’t already guessed from the title, the next Super Sentai series that will be getting this treatment will be from none other than 1981’s Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan and presumably Sun Vulcan Robo.
For fans of Sun Vulcan, this Minipla kit will provide a great alternative for those that may not be able to afford or find the original Godakin release.
At the moment, not much else is known about the release as all we have is the teaser announcement to go on. We’ll be sure to update you once Bandai releases photos of the prototype in the near future.

They're going old-school now...

Hell yes! The old SRC prototype is locked away in the Bandai vault somewhere never to be seen again. An SOC is basically out of the question as well. And the vintage DX and it's Godaikin release are both ridiculously expensive. I don't normally like to settle for model kit scale in my collection, but this will absolutely be the best option for Sun Vulcan Robo. And he'll compliment my S.H. Figuarts Sun Vulcan crew very well

I’ve long since been okay with collection Super Minipla versions of old mecha. They’re not as stupidly expensive nor fragile, SOC remakes are unlikely, I can deal with a little bit of partsforming on the older designs, and best of all they don’t eat up as much space! Bring ‘em all on!

Didn't expect this, but hey, that's pretty neat.

Sun Vulcan Robo? Heck yeah please! The simple design and the fact that it's the first combining robot is a win in my books!
So, Super Minipla Dyna Robo when?
Sunred says
Maybe not the most elaborate robots out there, but definitely a well-designed one when put together.
