Complete Selection Modification Amazons Driver Release Info!

Just in case you missed it, P-Bandai teased the release of a Complete Selection Modification Amazons Driver sometime ago. The Pre-Order page for that item’s finally launched and with that, we now have new photographs of this wonderful piece along with pricing and release info.

The package will include:

  • Three changeable faceplates, one for Amazons Omega, Alpha, and Sigma.
  • A replica of the Amazons Register and the sickle weapon used by Omega.
  • Pre-recorded lines from the actors of all three aforementioned Riders, in addition to a gimmick that will let it play select music from the show’s soundtrack.

Pre-Orders won’t begin until September 2nd, 2019 and the belt won’t ship until December of the same year. All of this can be yours for 27,500 yen before middleman fees and international shipping wherever applicable.

    This is a little odd to me because the original merchandise was already a collector's item that only adults would be interested in.

    Like I don't wanna be strict about cutoff points for when something is 'nostalgic enough' to get this treatment; but c'mon, this was practically yesterday?

    To be fair, the original was tiny--at the very least, this will hopefully be decently sized.

    In Bandai's efforts to make this more show accurate/adult oriented, the CSM version will come with actual deployable weapons.

    All kidding aside, as someone who missed out on the original, I am very excited to see what differences and new features might be available with this one.

    Plus, the original had sounds for Sigma that could be triggered by manipulating the pin system but weren’t recognised in any official capacity.

    I imagine they’ll be an official part of the CSM.

    The Sigma faceplate did end up getting released eventually, but only with the Neo Driver. But yeah, I imagine this will just come with it normally.

    Yeah, weird choice. Possible features: Sigma faceplate included (Alpha and Omega could probably still be one that flips), probably some random voiceclips (maybe they could go in the register?), better belt, better blade, maybe some lights in the register. Maybe just being bigger?

    It's odd because it's very simple so there's not much to include and the original did most of it. If they want to go full "f it, throw a mobile in there" maybe the gold register?
