MillCreek Announces More Stateside Ultra Series Series Blu Ray Releases!

Posted on September 4, 2019 at 12:17 am by Kiryu under Ultraman

Our friends at MillCreekEnt just announced more Ultraman series Blu-Rays will be coming stateside following the release of Ultra Q, Ultraman, and Ultra Seven in the coming months.

Joining alongside the aforementioned Ultra series we have Blu-Ray sets for Ultraman Geed and Ultraman Orb! Both will be released sometime November 2019 and will contain movies for both series.

In addition, more upcoming releases for 2020 were announced. That roadmap is as follows:

Spring 2020:

  • Return of Ultraman
  • Ultraman R/B Series+Movies
  • Ultra Fight Orb
  • Ultraman Ace

Summer 2020:

  •  Ultraman Taro
  • Ultraman Leo
  • Ultraman X Series+Movies
  • Ultraman Zero Series+Movies

No further release info was given at the time of this writing, and it is unclear which of the aforementioned series will be receiving Steelbooks if any but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as more info becomes available.

The banner says "Ultraman Zero Series + Movies"...but Zero never had a series, outside of The Chronicles show, which is just a rehash of the Movies!

I don't follow their thought process, but if we get the Zero Movies on disk and THIS SOON.....all I can say is: YEEEESS!!!!

I await Ginga and Ginga S! Go Gan-Q!

Wait, Ultraseven, Orb and Geed come out in November? Oh Man!

Ultra Fight Orb gets it's own release? Weird.

That was my first thought too. The only thing I can figure is there was the Killer the Beatstar(I think that was the title) two parter, so maybe they meant that. Maybe even the Ultra Fight Zero stuff since Ultra fight Orb is getting it's own release.

Man they weren't kidding when they said they licensed everything were they?

As much i like Blu-rays, they'll be obsolete in the 2020's.

Wow, they are not playing. Start strong with the OG three shows and pull a one-two combo like that?
