At last we have our first look at the next Super Sentai entries in the fan-favorite Super MiniPla buildable series!
This time, 1984’s Choudenshi Bioman gets a chance to shine! Two Bioman releases will be coming to Super MiniPla-
*The main Mecha, BioRobo! Created through the fusion of Bio Jet One and Bio Jet Two. This set will cost 5500 Yen.
*The carrier Mecha, BioDragon! This heavily-armored battleship transports the Bio Jets to battle. This set is priced at 11000 Yen.
Both Super MiniPla Bioman entries are scheduled for release in February 2021!

I don't know anything about Bioman, but the way the carrier unfolds like that is awesome.

Looks cool. Not a fan of BioDragon's price, a little much.

Claim to fame is it was the first show to have two female rangers specifically Yellow 4 and Pink 5 and during the later half portion of the show they have essentially a Hakaider retool but is one of the coolest third faction characters ever named Bio Hunter Silva. And yeah the Bio Dragon is definitely a cool design. What blows my mind the most about this though is they included the elevator. And I have said this before but Bio Robo is also well-designed, feels very streamlined when combined and nice color scheme.

Nice, now where’s the Thunderzords?!

I really love old Sentai mech designs, so this looks amazing...but I feel like I should cut myself off somewhere. I don't need every single release. Liveman, Jetman, and Leopardon are old school enough. I'd probably grab a Battle Fever Robo if they ever release one, though.
Watch, I'll regret it someday and spend hundreds finding the ones I skipped.

Just got fully revealed on the blog; alongside a little sneak peak at something else...

Bio particle activity detected. Destroy. Destroy.
Fun fact, had Saban got the greenlight for a sentai adaptation during the 80s this could have potentially been MMPR though not exactly that title per se. And Mark Dacascos was the Red Ranger apparently for the unaired pilot.

I'm such a sucker for the early sentai robots. Nice chunky Katsushi Murakami style designs.
I really like these kits and think they have a winning formula if they can keep the prices manageable. On the other hand, I'm not sure they appeal to the largest of audiences, but I do hope they continue regardless.

If you are planning on getting this, remember that an entire generation of Filipinos have grown up watching Bioman and will be in fierce competition to get these into their collection.
