Kamen Rider OOO 10th Anniversary DX Driver & Medal Rerelease Announced

Fan-favorite series Kamen Rider OOO is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, and Toei has announced even more merchandise releases to mark the occasion!

A special re-release of the original DX OOO Driver is on the horizon, which will include nine of the signature Core Medals. A separate release- the DX OOO Medal Set– will contain the remaining twelve Core Medals.

The 10th Anniversary DX OOO Driver is priced at 9350 Yen while the DX OOO Medal Set will cost 5280 Yen. Both sets are scheduled for release in March 2021!

    ... 9350 Yen, huh...? That's... very, very high even considering the included medals. And Premium Bandai compared to all other belt re-issues being normal retail.

    Come on. These 10th anniversary celebrations are a complete joke.

    I have the original DX driver and the medals, but I was never able to get the medal holder. I wish they would have re-released that as well.

    Really hoping Bluefin is able to bring these over, considering they recently announced the Extra Medals and Holder.

    Out of curiosity, I went and looked up the price of the nigh-identical Super Best version of the OOO Driver, and apparently that was 7,875 Yen, while the Medal Set back then was 2,625 Yen but didn't include BraKaWani's Medals.

    And also apparently the Super Best Den-O Belt was only 4,725 Yen compared to the 20th version's 7,150, which, uh, kinda makes this OOO Driver seem a lot more reasonable all of a sudden.

    Trust me, when it comes to converting prices from Jap to Eng, all I know is that 10000 Yen is roughly 90 dollars (which I learned from a page talking about how a fanfiction treated 10000 yen as an un-repayable loan that required a gold bracelet to cover). Which considering the price most people would charge for a 10 year old DX item online, seems reasonable.

    So not only do we get the medals for Tatoba, Tajadol, Gatakiriba, Latorartar, Sagohzo, Shauta, and Putotyra. But the medal set for Burakawani too! As Kousei Kougami would say "SPLENDID!!!" But I got to ask how much is 9350 and 5280 Yen is worth in USA?
