The official Bandai Tamashii Nations website has been counting down to the milestone of 100 releases since the Ultra Series joined the S.H. Figuarts line, and thanks to the latest batch of magazine leaks we can see that the 100th figure will be none other than an S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Ultraman!
Much like the premium treatment Ultraman Tiga received last year, the original 1966 Ultra hero will arrive as part of Bandai’s “true bone carving” line. While the release date, price and materials used on the figure are still unconfirmed, we can see from the images that this Ultraman will come packaged with multiple hands as well as his Specium Beam and Ultra Slash attack effect parts!
We’ll bring you more information on this release as it comes!
Looks like the cat's out of the bag on this one a little earlier than Bandai planned!
Definitely interested. Can upgrade from the OG Figuarts if he doesn't come with any soft goods gimmicks like Tiga.
I'm interested as well, but I won't try to hunt one down should pre-orders be hellish like usual.
They did say they wouldn't be doing soft goods from now on, and Tiga Power Type doesn't feature them. So almost certainly this doesn't have them either
It's amazing how many upgrades they can continue to make to such a simple design. Figure looks nice.
Hopefully this will see a u.s release and be easy to purchase. Glad i missed oit on the best selection c-type. Will definitely get this. Really hope it doesnt have tigas or ooo cracking elbow joints.
Teaser is up - why does poor Ultraman have holes in his knees?

That's a bit distracting, not gonna lie. They are also on the back of his feet but that's not too bad I guess.
