Complete Selection Modification Kamen Rider W: Fuuto PI Edition W Driver Details Released

Premium Bandai has published several images of the upcoming Complete Selection Modification rerelease of the W Driver in honor of the recent anime project Kamen Rider W: Fuuto PI.

This new version includes a Dialogue Mode for the Gaia Memories– which features dialogue clips from anime voices actors Yoshimasa Hosoya as Shotaro and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Phillip. The W Driver itself remains mostly unchanged from the 2019 release.

The Complete Selection Modification W Driver Version 1.5 Fuuto PI Edition is priced at 19300 Yen– or if you only want the new voice clips there will be a Complete Selection Modification Gaia Memory Fuuto PI Edition for only 9900 Yen. Both options are scheduled for release in January 2023!

    Hm... still Version 1.5? Not sure if it will be worth the cash for a most likely cosmetic update.

    I assume the Gaia Memory set is Fang and Extreme. I wonder if the dopant set will have the old memories or the ones for the new dopants.

    They did mention on the CSM Blog that the Gaia Memory set will be the same memories that come with the belt, sold separately. This is for those who purchased the CSM 1.5 belt already and just want the memories.

    This will definitely have new box art.

    Possibly added voice lines from the anime.

    I really like when CSMs have a hidden button to activate iconic BGM and insert themes.

    Huh. I wonder how much is different about the memories then, although I hope that means the belt comes with Fang Memory seeing as FangTrigger and FangMetal were some of the most prominent things to come out of the manga (though the anime's probably not going to get to them for another two seasons). We really do need rereleases of Fang and Extreme for CSM anyway. Maybe even a new Metal Shaft and Trigger Magnum at some point so you can pull of the maximum drives.

    Absolutely nothing. I assume that this will basically just be an excuse for a re-issue like the Seihou SHF, with possibly some added voice lines/BGM from the anime. Maybe they'll go absolutely nuts and cel-shade it lol
