Avataro Sentai DonBrothers New Mecha Revealed- OmiKoshi Phoenix & Murasami Onitaijin!

The fourth quarter for the Super Sentai series Avataro Sentai DonBrothers is nearly upon us, and a new quarter means new merchandise!

Center stage in this quarter is Don Momotaro in his unique new upgrade- GolDon Momotaro, which grants new armor and a cape to the peach hero.

With this GolDon power comes a new ally- the OmiKoshi Phoenix! This golden bird is summoned by Don Momotaro and can connect with either the DonBlaster weapon or the RoboTaro forms to create a new combination- GoldDon Onitaijin!

Also in this new quarter is a DX release for the mysterious Don Murasame– combining with a group of RoboTaro repaints to form Black Onitaijin Murasame! This repaint of DX Don Onitaijin is said to be a Premium Bandai exclusive.

    The black Onitaijin looks neat, and has the new hip flap tooling from the exclusive Don Robotaro so that's nice.

    When I first saw the phoenix, I thought it was an upgrade for Kiji Brother
    I think it looks pretty nice, but I'm not the biggest fan of how it's just chest armor.

    Murasame's mech looks cool. It being P Bandai exclusive is a bitch, though.

    I'm most interested in the flap on the shield that's pretty clearly intended to convert into a head for yet another form. I wonder if it might be a new form for Toradragonjin.

    It’s quite lackluster for a final mecha. At least it isn’t an extra red mecha that can combine with some of the other members of the team or another huge brick. This feels like kojishi voyager without orion. There’s that kiramager Phoenix flashback as well. The repaint evil mecha might be a cgi exclusive. It’s the second year a row the villain gain power of a clone mecha as a whole. It seems donbrother like always start out strong with mecha and visual, but gone stagnant after budget problems. The final mecha can passed for being a summer movie exclusive as well. Hope this makes fans happy they aren’t overspending on collectible gimmicks.

    I'm guessing all the R&D went into Don Onitaijin and possible lack of budget by now so Imma let this one slide. Plus, a nice nod to Gingaman I think so it's fine.

    I don't think this is the final mecha. The final is supposed to be a combo with Onitaijin, Phoenix, and ToraDoragon.
