Fathom Events Announces Shin Ultraman US Release

Kinda disappointed that the best they could do for a US theatrical partner was Fathom Events. Their screenings have a pretty bad reputation of having low video quality, so this is less than ideal.

Hopefully, it'll be picked up by a proper distributor for home video and/or streaming in the future.

Finally. Now let's see which theaters get it.

January 11th is for the Japanese version. January 12th is the English dub premiere.

Hopefully this does well, even though I am worried about the Fathom quality. I was lucky enough to see this at Fantastic Fest, and it is definitely a crowd pleaser that was made for the big screen.

A home media release has also been confirmed!

I got to see the subtitled Fathom theatrical release last night; a Blu Ray release is going to be an instant buy.
Never heard of that company before though. Looking through some of their home media catalog doesn't exactly inspire confidence...
