The Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger are getting an upgrade!
This is our first proper look at Champion Form– a unique new team power-up for the core five Boonboomgers unlocked via the Champion Changer.
Champion BoonBoomgers receive the stylish Champion Jacket, which offers them 10 special new abilities in combat.
The Champion form should be entering the race in the near future. Stay tuned for further details on this exciting Super Sentai series!

I'm guessing this is another take on the topic of explosives in honor of Dynaman's 40th anniversary.
From what I understand, Bakuage means 'shoot up', to what I assume is like fireworks shooting upwards, I wonder if the show will tone down the CG compared to Shugoddam
I'm sure people will be hoping for a new pink ranger, due to the lack of one this year.
Would be cool if they had another non-red face of the team as well, like Zenkaizer.
People have mentioned the possible connection to Dynaman, but there's also Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger which had an anniversary in 2023.
Romanization is a little off. ン before ブ would create an "m" sound, but not before ジャー. It's probably more like "Boomboonger" or "Boonboonger".
The ブンブン part has me thinking of music while the bakuage part has me thinking of raising up the volume to super high levels. Even if that's not the case the way it's worded invokes high tension of some sort to me.
As someone who stopped watching Kyoryuger primarily because they found it to be loud and obnoxious, I'm not immediately excited for this.
Bakuage, 爆上, is interesting. It can translate to like, “blast off” or “shoot up.” It can also mean just “explosion.” But it can ALSO mean a burst of laughter. 爆 on its own means laughter.
So the vibe of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger is like, an explosion of happiness that buzzes through you.
