The first official images of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Silver Morpher are now online courtesy Amazon.com. As was to be expected, this item comes with the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger Key. There had been some hope that perhaps this morpher would come with a few extra 6th Ranger keys, but alas, that does not seem to be the case.
Also, by looking at the item description and comparing it to the Gokai Cellular version (the Bandai of Japan version that is), it would appear that the “scanning” gimmick has also been removed from the toy. The gimmick served no real purpose to the functionality of the toy, it just made it match the show a little bit more by having a red light come on and an anchor drop inside the morpher above the key, giving you the impression that the key was actually being scanned. We also cannot see any of the decals inside the morpher that were present in the Bandai of Japan version.

Decals also seem to be missing from this version. Hard to tell.
i wonder what the sound(s) will be. just random beeps? season names, ranger names? will it have a sound for gold mode? this is really the only thing i want to know about it.
This toy is under the basic gear assortment, so it will have the same level of quality and features as the Super Mega Blaster and Super Mega Saber (Basic), as well as the Robo Morpher, Lion Laser Blaster, Mega Blaster and Ultimate Blaster.
Miss the days when they used to just direct-import toys. This thing is a clear example why. It's basically a clear plastic box with stickers. I doubt it'll even made proper sounds when you insert a key.
Yeah, it sucks. But you know what, so did the Gokai Cellular.

So to suck more then the Gokai Cellular, which wasn't very good to begin with, is a very bad thing.
