
Official listings at Amazon Japan confirm that Kamen Rider Kabuto will be the next series to receive a Blu-Ray release!
Following previous release patterns, Kamen Rider Kabuto will be released in three volumes- with each volume containing 16 episodes. Volume 1 will be released on January 9 2015 while Volume 2 will come out March 13 2015. The last volume does not have a release date at the time of this writing, but each set will be priced at 21, 384 Yen.
The man who will rule the world... must be seen at 1080p HD.

Am I understanding it wrong, or is it seriously 21,384 yen per set? That's completely insane, I doubt I'd be willing to pay that for the whole series, let alone a single volume of 16 episodes!
DVDs and Blu-rays can get pretty pricy over in Japan.
WTF happened to Blade? They did Ryuki, 555, and they just skip to Kabuto? That's messed up!!
Why is anyone surprised at these prices by now? Each DVD had cost 5800Y, and there were 12 volumes. As such, that was 69600Y for an entire series. The BD sets cost 69000Y in total, making it cheaper than the whole series was on DVD.
