Anime distributor Funimation has picked up the streaming rights for the upcoming Garo: Seal of Flames series!
The anime adaptation of the Golden Knight’s adventures will be simulcast with subtitles for all members who subscribe to Funimation’s streaming services. For those interested in joining, services cost 7.95 USD per month and can be played through a variety of media devices.
Garo: Seal of Flames begins this weekend in Japan! Be sure to tune in and see this new story unfold!
UPDATE! Popular subbing group TV-Nihon has stated on their Facebook page that because of the license obtained by FUNimation that they will NOT be doing subtitles for this animated Garo series. We are still awaiting to hear from the other subtitle groups on whether or not they will follow suit.

Yes! I guess we should get a dub soon from Funimation. If Seal of Flames does well then maybe Funimation can look into subbing and dubbing the live action shows.

If we are getting a dub from Funimation, I'll wait for the dub then, as I am not a fan of subtitles.

I'm glad the show is getting the exposure. Less thrilled about dropping $8 a month to subscribe to an entire site just to watch one show. But if the show takes off and increases interest in Garo domestically, there's always a chance it could lead to official US releases of the other shows and movies.
Also, does this mean Funimation will also be releasing this on dvd and/or blu-ray? I don't know how the relationship works between their streaming site and physical media.

The fact that I never knew that Funmation HAS a stream service should tell you something.
Glad it's getting released in the USA but I'm not willing to pay $8.00 to yet another service.
