While no images have surfaced yet from the Licensing Expo currently being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, we do have commentary from famed and credible Power Rangers fan Fury Diamond. You can find the original post at the Ranger Crew Blog, but we’ve also summarized it here for you.
It would appear that in 2013 there will be two mainstay Power Rangers events – Power Rangers Megaforce and Power Rangers 20. There was a poster for each.
The Power Rangers Megaforce Poster showcased the Goseiger suits, the Goseiger mech, and the new logo. Sorry Gokaiger fans, doesn’t appear to be any type of “merging” going on for the seasons.
The Power Rangers 20 poster is much more interesting. The poster is a close-up of the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger’s helmet, and in the visor you can see what would be a reflection of numerous other Rangers – most notably, all previous Red Rangers (including the Quantum Ranger) and in the middle of all of them, The Mighty Morphin White Tiger Ranger.

That sounds good to me. There's always a chance of Gokaiger coming over but the chance to get new and possibly good Goseiger toys sounds awesome to me. The Power Rangers 20 thing sounds very interesting as well, looking forward to pics.

Sentai will certainly enjoy this news
Anyway, I'd like to see that PR 20 poster.

I'm perfectly fine with it being Goseiger. Gokaiger will come eventually and I think the Goseiger aesthetic deserves a second shot at being made into a more reputable series. Judging by Samurai it could come out awful, but people are going to be far less critical of it then they would be of any Gokaiger adaptation.

I'm more curious as to which aspects they'll keep and which they'll change.
(It sounds like Gosei Knight won't be a robot, unless they were looking strictly for a voice actor for him)

I've only seen the first episode of Goseiger, and it appears that it could be a good 20th anniversary season. They have the original colors, and also it was somewhat nostalgic when the weapons combined to form the cannon like in MMPR.

The revelation of Power Rangers 20 is a surprise and it seems they might attempt a mega event for the 20th anniversary. I think this is how they'll utilize the Gokaiger footage. I maintain that the Gokaiger adaptation might be a special series, or even a full-fledged feature film shown the same year as the Goseiger adaptation!
ShockerCon says
Damn.
Looks like Kickback owes Sentai a Gosei Knight.
Brainchild says
Oh, I'm actually kinda glad about this. I just recently watched 199 Hero Battle or whatever it was called, and it rekindled my love for the vanilla Goseigers.
