So you are in charge of a kid-oriented network. You have a show that you want your target audience to watch. How would you schedule it?
I know: Air half a season during school days when kids are busy doing their homework, then put it in hiatus in summer when kids are free from school, then air the second half when school starts again.
Brilliant plan, I say!

But seriously, does filming and post-production really take that long that you can't finish the whole damn show in one setting? And this is a franchise that's known to use already existing footage so it's not like they have to do all the work when part of it is already done and ready. Disney didn't seem to have that issue when they were able to make one Power Rangers series every year without skipping any of the Sentai.
